This is a brand new, much improved knob for replacing the stock knob in any one of four locations on your vintage UNISAW.
THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE 1 5/8" KNOB
Early Unisaw knobs are die cast and easily bent or broken. These heavy billet aluminum knobs are CNC machined for an exacting fit.
One photo shows the two OEM stock knobs on a Delta Unisaw fence, and another shows a fence with our new fluted replacement knobs. Another close-up photo shows the finger knob and the matching larger knob. See our other listing for the smaller finger knob fence adjustment.
The larger 1 5/8” diameter knob can be used to replace the following four knobs on the Unisaw.
Micro adjust knob at the fence
Vertical blade height lock knob
Angular blade position lock knob
Dust door cam lock knob
Our new deeply fluted, comfortable-to-grip, easy to tighten, aluminum replacement finger knob is available on another of our eBay listings. This listing is for the matching larger diameter fluted knob shown on the micro adjustment shaft on the fence’s right side.
This attractive 1 5/8” diameter knob has been CNC machined from billet aluminum bar, with fourteen (14) deeply radiused flutes equally spaced around its perimeter. These flutes allow the operator to easily grip and turn the knob.
These knobs install with a light press fit on the shaft as did the OEM knobs. We have provided a hidden air bleed relief in the bore to facilitate the press fit of the shaft into the knob. Although not usually required, a small vial of Loctite retaining compound is included with the purchase of our knobs.
