VINTAGE DELTA 6" x 48" BELT SANDER LOWER DUST DEFLECTOR DOOR
Proudly manufactured in the USA for Vintage Delta Supply Co.
This replacement lower dust deflector door is designed for vintage Delta 6" x 48" belt sanders and mounts to the lower dust chute directly beneath the worktable.
Carefully fabricated to replicate the original design, this premium replacement restores proper dust control while maintaining the appearance and function of your vintage machine.
PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION
Each dust deflector is manufactured as a precision two-piece assembly consisting of:
• Laser-cut formed steel deflector plate
• Precision drilled and tapped steel pivot shaft
• Professionally TIG welded construction for superior strength and durability
After fabrication, every deflector is test fit to ensure proper operation before being hand sanded and finished with a gray primer, ready for final painting to match your machine.
EASY INSTALLATION
The deflector installs using the original mounting method and includes:
• Two (2) stainless steel 6-32 x 1/2" socket head cap screws
The mounting screws allow the deflector to be adjusted to the desired position while providing enough tension to hold it securely during operation.
IMPROVED DUST CONTROL
The lower dust deflector plays an important role in controlling dust generated at the lower drive drum. Properly adjusted, it helps reduce airborne dust by redirecting debris back toward the moving belt and into the dust collection area for improved housekeeping and cleaner operation.
