Reproduced long tubular exhaust casting for the vintage Delta 12” disc sander.
It works equally as well on the open splayed leg stand for the early sanders and for the enclosed sheet metal stands that were available on the later disc sanders.
For years we have been offering the very rare and hard-to-find casting that allows a vintage Delta 12” disc sander to be connected to a dust collector.
However, we always knew there was a longer even more rare similar exhaust casting for the disc sander. This other longer casting provided an exhaust route through the enclosed cabinet that later grinders were assembled on. We found one of these in our travels and decided to have the foundry duplicate it as well. We are currently sold out of the short casting but now offer the longer tubular casting.
This listing is for the longer tubular exhaust casting.
Both type of exhaust castings have the oval 2 bolt flange that connects to the bottom side of the disc sander’s worktable support casting and both come complete with the flanged connector for a vacuum hose.
These are grey iron reproduction castings that connect to the bottom of the disc sander housing and turn 90°s to the rear. The flange at the rear of the casting is drilled to accept an included 4 bolt 2” diameter vacuum hose fitting.
The flanges at both ends of the casting have been faced flat and drilled for the connections.
Bolts are provided for securing the casting to the disc sander and well as are screws for connecting the vacuum connector.
