Push-Pull Switch Rod Kit for Vintage Delta Open Splayed-Leg Stands

Complete push-pull switch rod kit for vintage Delta band saws, jointers, and belt sanders equipped with an open splayed-leg stand and exposed motor.

Installation requires bending the rod to fit your machine, cutting it to the desired length, and threading the end 10-32 to connect to the supplied switch clevis.

Kit Includes

• 20-inch pull rod: Fabricated from 3/16-inch carbon steel with a finger loop on one end, then zinc plated. The rod is long enough to be trimmed and formed for virtually any Delta open-stand application.
• Clamp-on guide bracket: Zinc-plated bracket designed to clamp to the upper angle flange of a Delta splayed-leg stand. Includes a vibration-reducing rubber grommet and stainless-steel 1/4-28 clamping bolt.
• Heavy-duty toggle switch: Double-pole, single-throw ON/OFF switch rated for 8 amps at 115 volts or 16 amps at 220 volts and suitable for motors up to 1 HP.
• Modified flat switch lever: CNC-machined to accept the pull rod and hairpin clip, replicating the obsolete Delta/Cutler-Hammer design. Red and green markings identify the OFF and ON positions.
• CNC-machined aluminum clevis: Slotted and cross-drilled for the supplied hairpin clip, with a 10-32 threaded connection for the pull rod.
• Wire-form mockup rod: Helps determine the required bends, offset, and finished length before forming the heavier steel pull rod.
• Motor junction-box cover plate: Laser-cut and drilled to fit many Delta junction boxes with either corner-mounted or centerline-mounted screws.
• Installation hardware: Includes stainless-steel 8-32 pan-head cover screws, hairpin clip, 10-32 clevis jam nut, 1/4-28 bracket bolt, and toggle-switch mounting nuts.
