IMPROVED REAR-CLAMP FINGER KNOB FOR EARLY DELTA UNISAW FENCE
This listing is for one newly manufactured aluminum finger knob used to tighten the rear J-hook clamp on an early-style Delta Unisaw fence.
Early Unisaw fences require the rear clamp to be tightened separately using the finger knob located on top of the fence casting. The front clamp is secured with the fence’s lever.
IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION:
This knob is intended for early-style Delta Unisaw fences equipped with a separately operated rear-clamp finger knob. It is not used on later Jet-Lock fences, which lock the front and rear of the fence through the lever mechanism.
Original Delta knobs have a small diameter and fine fluting that can be difficult to grip. Decades of use may also leave the original fluting worn nearly smooth. This improved replacement has a larger diameter and nine deep, radiused flutes for a more comfortable grip and easier tightening.
KNOB FEATURES:
- CNC machined from billet aluminum
- 13/16-inch outside diameter
- Nine equally spaced, deeply radiused flutes
- Internal 1/4-20 threads
- Larger and easier to grip than the original Delta knob
- Narrower than the fence body to prevent interference with material moving along the fence
INCLUDED:
- One CNC-machined aluminum finger knob
- One stainless-steel flat washer
Install the supplied washer between the knob and fence casting to reduce friction at the contact surface.
The fence, J-hook, internal pull rod, original knob, and all other components shown are not included.
