VERTICAL DELTA NAMEPLATE FOR VINTAGE ART DECO CAST-IRON MACHINE BASES
This listing is for one newly manufactured vertical DELTA nameplate for the front of compatible Art Deco-style cast-iron bases used beneath certain vintage Delta woodworking machines, including jointers and belt sanders.
Original nameplates were manufactured from thin aluminum and are frequently dented, scratched, damaged, painted over or missing. Our replacement is manufactured from brush-finished stainless steel for improved resistance to denting and corrosion.
INCLUDED:
· One vertical DELTA nameplate
· Two stainless-steel #5-40 mounting bolts
· Two stainless-steel flat washers
· Two stainless-steel locknuts
The cast-iron base, machine and all other components shown are not included.
SPECIFICATIONS:
· Approximately 1" wide × 5.06" long
· 0.030-inch-thick 304 stainless steel
· Laser-cut, deburred and brush-finished
· Screen-printed black artwork
· Slightly radiused corners
· Vertical mounting orientation
The plate’s slightly radiused corners provide a finished edge compared with the square-cut corners found on many original plates.
INSTALLATION:
The original Delta nameplate was mounted vertically to the front of the cast-iron base using two fasteners. This replacement includes stainless-steel mounting hardware for installation through compatible mounting holes in the base.
Delta used several base styles and mounting arrangements. Before ordering, compare the nameplate dimensions and mounting-hole locations shown in the listing photos with your machine.
