DELTA 6-INCH JOINTER FENCE ANGLE GAUGE PLATE — NJ-240
This listing is for one newly manufactured curved fence-angle gauge plate for compatible vintage Delta 6-inch jointers.

Delta manufactured these machines over many years, and variations may exist. Before ordering, compare the shape, dimensions and three-hole mounting pattern shown in the photos with your original plate.
INCLUDED:
- One curved fence-angle gauge plate
Mounting screws, drive rivets, fence components and all other parts are not included.
CONSTRUCTION:
- Laser-cut 304 stainless-steel plate
- Approximately 0.030 inch thick
- Approximately 3/4" × 6" overall
- Deburred and brush-finished
- Bright-red self-adhesive vinyl scale graphic
- Three-hole mounting pattern reproduced from the original plate
This plate replaces the original angle gauge used to indicate the Delta jointer fence position. Original plates are frequently scratched, dented, painted over, damaged during removal or missing entirely.
INSTALLATION:
The replacement plate may be installed with original-style drive rivets. As an alternative, the existing mounting holes may be carefully drilled and tapped for #6-32 screws.
Before removing the original plate, inspect the back of the fence casting. On some castings, the rivet holes extend completely through the casting. If so, the original rivets may be driven out from the back using a small, pointed punch.
Drilling and tapping the casting is optional and should be performed only by someone familiar with the procedure. Confirm the available material and hole location before modifying the casting.
