Delta 6" x 48" Belt Sander Angle Gauge Plate — Replaces BS-250
This all-new, banana-shaped angle gauge plate is a direct replacement for the tilt indicator used on vintage Delta 6" x 48" belt sanders.
Original Delta part number: BS-250
Original angle gauges were manufactured from thin aluminum and were easily dented, scratched, painted over, damaged during removal or lost. Our newly manufactured replacement is stronger, more durable and carefully reproduced from the dimensions and artwork of the original plate.

Removing the Original Gauge
Delta installed the original plate with drive rivets, which can be difficult to remove without damaging the thin aluminum gauge. We use a small chisel to loosen each rivet by lightly tapping around its base from all four sides. Once loosened, the rivets can be removed.
Installation
The replacement plate can be installed with OEM-style drive rivets or stainless-steel screws. In our restoration work, we drill the original rivet holes with a #38 drill bit and tap them for 5-40 pan-head screws. This allows the plate to be removed again without damaging it.
