Full Description

Brass Locking Bullets for Vintage Delta Unisaw Handwheel Shafts

Replaces Delta Part No. 422-04-074-0001S

This listing is for one pair—two pieces—of new brass locking bullets used in the handwheel locking mechanism on vintage Delta Unisaw tilt and blade-elevation shafts.

Important: The shaft shown in some photographs is for illustration only and is not included.

Each Unisaw shaft requires one pair of bullets. To restore both the tilt and elevation locking mechanisms on one saw, you will need to purchase two sets.

Original brass bullets often become worn, flattened, or mushroomed after decades of use. Once damaged, they may no longer lock the shaft securely when the center handwheel knob is tightened.

Our replacement bullets are precision-machined from 0.312″-diameter brass rod and are direct replacements for a Unisaw equipped with the brass bullet-style locking mechanism.

These bullets do not replace the steel wedge-style inserts used on an earlier Unisaw. Please inspect your existing locking mechanism before ordering.

  • Two precision-machined brass locking bullets
