DELTA UNISAW ARBOR-ASSEMBLY RETAINING NUT AND 11-TAB LOCK WASHER
This listing is for one newly manufactured fine-thread retaining nut and one keyed, 11-tab lock washer. Together, these parts secure the bearings, spacers, and pulley inside the arbor casting of a compatible Delta Unisaw.
INCLUDED:
- One 17 mm fine-pitch, right-hand-thread retaining nut
- One keyed lock washer with 11 bendable tabs
The nut and lock washer are sold only as a set and are not available separately.
IMPORTANT—THIS IS NOT THE SAW-BLADE ARBOR NUT:
Do not confuse this assembly-retaining nut with the 5/8-12 left-hand-thread arbor nut that secures the saw blade to the arbor.
This nut has a special 17 mm fine-pitch, right-hand thread used to retain the rotating components inside the arbor casting. It is intended to fit original Delta Unisaw arbors and our newly manufactured replacement arbor.

The keyed opening in our replacement lock washer prevents the washer from rotating on the arbor shaft. Its 11 equally spaced tabs allow one or more tabs to be bent against the flats of the fully tightened nut, helping prevent the nut from loosening during operation.
Both components have a black-oxide finish for appearance and added corrosion resistance.
Please verify the thread size, thread direction, arbor configuration, and part numbers before ordering. Installation should be performed by someone familiar with Delta Unisaw arbor assemblies. The arbor, bearings, spacers, pulley, saw blade, and all other components are not included.
