Replacement 115V OFF - ON toggle switch for your vintage Delta Unisaw, shaper, or other vintage Delta machine on a cast iron base.
This sale is for a "new" toggle switch for your vintage Delta UNISAW and other Delta woodworking machines that had a diecast switch housing similar to the Unisaw.
The original switches were an off-on toggle switch with a metal handle that had a small ball on the end of the toggle lever. These have been discontinued for years and there never has been a good replacement offered.
We make several styles of the vintage Delta equipment switch plates and noticed, during our research and acquisition of the vintage parts to base our reproduction on, that very few old table saws and shapers had a decent switch in them after the original must have failed.
This modified-to-suit switch is the perfect complement to our very popular replacement switch plates for vintage Delta woodworking equipment.
The switch we are offering is a high-quality Pass-Seymour 15-amp 120-277 volt rated heavy duty single pole toggle switch. This switch will work with all 1 hp and 1 1/2 hp (and smaller) vintage Delta single phase motors, that are being operated on 110-120 voltage.
Our standard switch has a gray toggle lever and fits perfectly in the Delta die cast switch box behind the OEM aluminum switch plate. The switch has screw terminals for breaking the hot lead of the 115-volt circuit and a provision for a ground wire, not originally found in the vintage Delta tool power wiring. The switch is both UL listed and CSA stamped.
