Heavy duty single pole toggle switch for restoring your vintage Delta grinder.
This is the toggle switch that fits in the base of the grinder behind the circular OFF-ON labeled disc.
The toggle switch is a perfect replacement for the original Delta switch. This switch is a single pole switch intended to break only the hot lead into the motor run circuit. The neutral leads of the motor and incoming power should be connected with a wire nut.
Delta originally ran both the neutral and the hot circuits through a double pole switch. This was not really a good idea because if the neutral side of the switch failed, the operator could become the grounding circuit.
This switch is both UL and CSA approved.
