ARBOR ASSEMBLY NUT AND LOCKWASHER - used on the right hand end of a Unisaw arbor

This is the fine thread nut and lock washer that secures the sandwiched bearings, spacers, and pulley into the arbor casting for a Delta Unisaw.

Do not confuse this nut with the "ARBOR NUT" we offer.  The 5/8 - 12 left hand thread "arbor nut" is the nut that secures the saw blade to the saw.  This right hand fine thread is the assembly nut for the rotating arbor components.

The nut's thread is a special 17mm fine pitch thread that exactly matches the original Delta thread.  The nut will work on OEM Delta Unisaw arbors as well as our newly manufactured replacement arbor.  The equivalent Delta part number for this nut is 902012009847S. 

 The lock washer we offer is an improvement over the saucer shaped lock washer that Delta offers.  The saucer shaped Delta lock washer is part number 904050106664. The Delta OEM keyed washer must be deformed around the perimeter when attempting to bend a side up against the nut in an effort to prevent inadvertent loosening of the nut.

Our lock washer is similarly keyed to fit the arbor shaft to prevent rotation, but there are 11 equal spaced tabs on our lock washer.... to allow one, two, or more tabs to be easily bent up against the flats of the fully tightened nut.

Both our newly manufactured 17mm nut and the tabbed lock washer have been black oxide plated to increase corrosion protection.
