DELTA UNISAW/SHAPER DUST DOOR KNOB, SHAFT AND CAM ASSEMBLY
This complete assembly includes the knob, shaft, locking cam, stainless steel set screw, and Loctite retaining compound for the dust door on vintage Delta Unisaw's and Heavy-Duty Shapers.
MACHINED SHAFT
The new shaft is precision-machined to connect the locking cam and knob. It is designed for a light press fit into the knob, matching the installation method used on the original factory assembly.
A small container of Loctite retaining compound is included with every order to securely bond the new shaft and knob.
BILLET ALUMINUM KNOB
The 1-5/8"-diameter knob is CNC-machined from billet aluminum bar and features fourteen deeply radiused flutes equally spaced around its perimeter. These flutes provide a secure, comfortable grip for opening and closing the dust door.
A concealed air-bleed relief is machined into the knob bore to release trapped air and make pressing the shaft into the knob easier.
BILLET ALUMINUM LOCKING CAM
Our replacement cam is CNC-machined from 6061 billet aluminum bar. This provides a durable upgrade over the original factory cam, which was die-cast and zinc-plated.
The cam is designed for a slip fit onto the dust-door shaft. We relocated the threaded set-screw hole to the opposite side of the cam, where additional material provides better support for the threads.
The included set screw tightens securely against the machined flat on the shaft, eliminating the need for the original D-shaped mounting hole.

- One 5/16" stainless steel set screw, installed
