Delta Grinder Work Light Switch Plate
Full Description
This is a custom decal already applied to a laser cut stainless steel plate that was created to cover the blank switch plate at the pedestal hole on a Delta dual wheel grinder. The switch plate identifies the added toggle as the work light off-on switch for the twin lights above the grinding wheels.
Background:
The plate I had on my grinder’s pedestal had a toggle size hole in it, but there never was anything installed in it, nor any wiring in the pedestal itself. Power originally entered at the backside of the grinder motor and the toggle at the grinder itself turned on both of the lights whenever the motor was running.
I wanted the lights controlled separately so I developed a decal that said WORK LIGHT OFF-ON. I tried to replicate the Delta logo pattern and colors that some 3 phase machines used on the pedestal plate.
We are now offering this decal already applied to a laser cut and then brush finished stainless steel plate. The plate has the four mounting holes and the toggle switch hole already cut and fits the Delta pedestal perfectly.
This decal, like all of our other Delta reproduction decals, is professionally printed on high quality self-adhesive vinyl. The decal is custom cut to go around the plate’s four corner screws so tightening the screws does not impact the overlaying decal. These decals are 3 color – burgundy, white, and black on a clear background. The background was purposely made clear to show the bright color of the brushed stainless-steel plate.
