DELTA HANDWHEEL SPINNER HANDLE AND SHAFT
New reproduction handwheel spinner handle and shaft set for vintage Delta Unisaw, Heavy-Duty Shapers, and other Delta/Rockwell equipment.
Each set includes:
- One profiled aluminum spinner handle
- One matching knurled shaft
- One small vial of Loctite 609 retaining compound
THE HANDWHEEL SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY AND IS NOT INCLUDED.
The handle is CNC-machined from solid 6061 billet aluminum and counterbored, so the shaft fits flush with the top of the handle.
The shaft diameter matches the original Delta Unisaw and Heavy-Duty Shaper spinner-handle shaft. Like the OEM shaft, it features a knurled section designed to secure it inside the handwheel mounting hole. A small vial of Loctite 609 retaining compound is included to help secure the shaft if needed.

Finish
The handle is supplied with its natural as-machined finished. One photograph shows three examples for comparison:
- Left: As machined
- Center: Scotch-Brite finish
- Right: Polished finish
Only the as-machined finish is supplied. The handle can easily be given a brushed or polished finish if desired. Install the handle on the shaft, secure the shaft in a drill, and lightly seat the handle against the drill chuck so it rotates with the shaft. The handle can then be carefully worked against a buffing wheel or nonwoven abrasive pad using appropriate eye protection and safe shop practices.
