Full Description

JACK SCREWS FOR ADJUSTING THE KNIVES ON A VINTAGE DELTA 13" PLANER

THIS IS AN ALL NEW 3/8 - 24 SPECIAL HEADED BOLT USED TO RAISE AND LOWER THE KNIVES ON A VINTAGE DELTA 13" PLANER'S CUTTER HEAD.

These adjusting screws are often called "jack screws".

Not all Delta 13" planers had the threaded hole at the end of each knife for this bolt. However, some model 22- 101 planers used knife blades that had a notch in each end and used this type of bolt to adjust the height of the knife. The notch, as shown in the photos, fits over the thin section of the bolt head and allows the bolt to be turned to raise or lower each end of the knife blade to get them true and in position

The original bolts were Delta part number PLR-115, had slotted heads, and were often damaged or missing

Our all-new bolts have been CNC machined from alloy socket head cap screws to replicate the section of the head needed to fit the notch.

The original Delta screwdriver slot design is now upgraded a much better internal hex wrench design

They are sold by the each. A 22-101 cutter head for the Delta 13" planer requires a total of six (6) adjusting bolts
