VINTAGE DELTA CAST IRON BASE KNURLED NUTS
Full Description
Vintage Delta cast iron equipment base knurled nuts.
Original nuts are often found to be damaged or missing when restoring one of these highly sought after Art-deco cast iron equipment stands.
We have recreated the original style knurled nut. Our replacement nuts are knurled, profiled, counter bored, and then threaded 5/16”-18. We use high quality Engraver’s brass rod and then nickel plate the nuts for appearance and long-term corrosion protection.
The price shown is for one knurled nut.
A typical Delta cast iron base unit uses a minimum of four knurled nuts, and in many cases five of these knurled nuts to hold the back panel plus the belt guard in place.
A black nylon flat washer is included with each nut. The washer should be placed between the painted cast iron surface and the knurled nut to protect the appearance of the restoration effort.

Reviews From the Shop Floor
I'm restoring an old Delta drill press and the original work light was missing the actual socket, switch, and cord. What I purchased is a great direct replacement and it seems quite high quality. I would recommend this seller to procure parts to restore your old machines. Worth the money. Good job!
