NEW SPRINGS FOR USE WITH THE FAUCET STYLE HANDLES ON VINTAGE DELTA MACHINES
These springs are sold by the pair.
Delta used the small four spoke die cast handle on a number of vintage machines.
These handles hold the table in position on the popular 14” band saw, lock the worktable at the trunnion clamps on the 12” disc sander, hold the top cover in place on a 6 x 48 belt sander and are used on a half dozen other vintage machines.
For these faucet style knobs to best function, Delta installed a small coil spring over the threaded stud and into the bottom side’s counter bore in the handle.
The Delta part number for that spring is NCS-33. These original springs are often missing, corroded, or damaged when restoring a vintage Delta machine.
There was one spring originally used under each handle.
This is a pair of new exact replacement springs, of the same specifications as the OEM Delta spring but are made from type 302 stainless steel, so they will not corrode. Nor do they need plating or painting.
