DELTA DUAL-WHEEL PEDESTAL GRINDER WORK-LIGHT SWITCH PLATE
This listing is for a custom WORK LIGHT OFF–ON decal professionally applied to a laser-cut, brush-finished stainless-steel switch plate. The plate was designed to fit the original blank switch-plate location on a vintage Delta dual-wheel pedestal grinder.
This listing includes the finished stainless-steel plate with the decal already installed. The decal is no longer available separately.
The plate identifies an added toggle switch used to control the grinder’s twin work lights independently from the grinder motor.
Background
The original plate on our grinder’s pedestal had a toggle-switch-sized opening, but no switch or wiring had ever been installed there. Power originally entered through the rear of the grinder motor, and the switch at the motor operated both work lights whenever the grinder was running.
We wanted the ability to operate the lights independently, so we developed this WORK LIGHT OFF–ON plate. Its design was inspired by the Delta logo patterns and colors used on the pedestal plates of certain three-phase machines.
