DEPTH OF CUT GAUGE FOR A VINTAGE DELTA 4” AND 6” JOINTERS
This is an “all new” small rectangular-shaped depth of cut gauge plate to fit the vintage Delta 4” and 6” jointers.
Delta’s part number for this item is DJ-26, NJ-211, or FJ-325, depending on the jointer model.
This replacement gauge fits Delta 6” jointers # 37-220, 37-205, and 37-207, and 4” jointers 37-290.
The original depth of cut gage that is used to adjust the feed side casting of the jointer is often dented, dinged, scratched, damaged, painted over, or lost.
Our depth of cut indicator plate is newly manufactured and better than the originals.
These 3/4” x 2” plates are made of stainless steel and have been carefully and painstakingly recreated from the dimensions of the original plates and from the original artwork.
The gage blanks were laser cut from .030” thick 304 stainless steel before being carefully deburred and brush finished, prior to application of a high quality bright red vinyl decal.
The holes in the angle gage plates are an exact to match the original plates and use the original holes to mount.
The angle gage plate can be mounted with the original style drive rivets or our recommended mounting method of using #5-40 screws in the rivet holes once they have been tapped to accommodate the screws.
