VINTAGE DELTA ROCKWELL BADGE
Full Description
This is a very high-quality reproduction name plate for many vintage Delta machines.
We laser cut a 5052 H32 anodized and brush finished aluminum backing plate to match the size and shape of the original nameplate.
A high quality decal was created replicating the original Delta artwork and applied to the face of the plate. The colors of the printing on the plate are burgundy and or red and black depending on the badge on a clear background. This allows the brushed metal finish to show through.
THE HOLES ON THESE PLATES ARE NOT OFFSET LIKE THE ORIGINALS. THEY WILL REQUIRE A NEW HOLE DRILLED.
The plate will be provided with two (2) original style stainless steel drive rivets, and also two (2) stainless steel 5-40 pan head screws.
When we reattach nameplates, we prefer to re-drill the original holes with a #38 drill bit and then tap them for the 5-40 screws, so installation and future removal of the item is easier. Solid castings like drill press heads can accept the drive rivet. Thin metal like a band saw door would require a 5-40 pan head screw.
