Replacement vertical name plate for the front of the art deco cast iron bases under vintage Delta woodworking machines.
We always had the Unisaw dust door tag that could be cut down to fit the cast base, but now a specific size vertical logo plate is available for these bases.
This sale is for a "new" vertical DELTA name plate to fit the front to the cast iron bases as used under the jointer, and belt sander.
The original nameplates were made from thin aluminum and were easily dented, dinged, damaged, or lost.
Our name plates are newly manufactured and better than the originals.
These nominal 1" x 5.06" plates are made of stainless steel and have been carefully and painstakingly recreated from the dimensions of the original plates and from the original artwork.
The name tag blanks were laser cut from .030" thick 304 stainless steel before being carefully deburred and brush finished, prior to the high-quality screen printing of the artwork.
The corners of the dust door name tags have a very slight radius, which is an improvement over the square cut corners of the original plates.
The Delta factory secured the name tag with two fasteners through the large holes in the cast base front panel. Our replacement dust door name tags are supplied with two (2) stainless steel #5 - 40 bolts, large flat washers and locking nuts.
