Full Description

Replacement motor data plate for the vintage UNISAW bullet motor.

We reproduced this plate with the same high quality as our other decals and Unisaw accessories. This item starts with a laser cut anodized and brush finished aluminum disc and has a custom created decal professionally applied that replicates the single phase 115/230-volt data plate as found on the end of the housing on most early Delta Unisaw bullet motors. The original motor data plate was attached to the motor with drive rivets and is often discarded when the motor is rebuilt. Removing the drive rivets often damages the fragile OEM data plate and often results in sheared rivets being left in the original motor housing.

When we set out to replicate the plate, we elected to include automotive type double sided emblem adhesive tape to alleviate the riveting issue. The tape provided is a cut-to-size donut shaped disc to allow for clearance of the brass bearing closure plug at the centerline of the housing. The tape is 3M VHB (very high bond) double sided foam tape.

Suggested instructions for installation of the new motor data plate are included. These 3" diameter plates and decals have been carefully and painstakingly recreated from the dimensions of the original plates and from the original data tag artwork.

We laser cut an anodized and brush finished aluminum backing plate to match the size and shape of the original nameplate.

A high-quality decal was created replicating the original Delta artwork and applied to the face of the plate.

Suggestions for installation of your reproduction Bullet Motor name plate

1.    It is best to install the data tag on the motor once the motor is in position on the saw to prevent damaging the tag during handling of the motor.

2.    Clean the surfaces of the saw motor and the backside of the data tag with lacquer thinner or acetone and let dry.

3.    Remove the protective paper from either side of the adhesive disc and apply the double-sided tape to the end of the motor.

4.    Press securely into the motor housing to insure adhesion.

5.    Remove the second protective layer and position the motor tag against the remaining exposed adhesive in the orientation you wish to read it
